This course trains students to proficiently operate an ambulance and understand the theory and laws that accompany this skill.

Classes meet on Mondays & Wednesdays from 04:00 pm - 08:00 pm beginning on 08/12/24.

This course is open to currently employed Certified Nursing Assistants. Becoming a Medication Assistant upskills the CNA into a position that is capable of dispersing certain medications and eligible for higher pay within most facilities. After passing this Medication Assistant Course, the student will be eligible to sit for the registry test to become a certified Medication Assistant.

Requirements for admission

• Signed letter of recommendation from your current long-term care facility employer
• High School Transcript or GED
• Background Check
• Negative Drug Screen
• CNA
• TB Skin Test
• CPR Certification
• Copy of Drivers License

This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to Microsoft Excel by covering topics such as navigating the user interface to perform calculations, formatting worksheets, and managing workbooks. This course covers fundamental Excel features, formula creation, data formatting, printing, and effective workbook management.

This intermediate-level Microsoft Excel course is designed to enhance your proficiency in spreadsheet management and analysis and empower you to efficiently handle data, perform complex analyses, and present insights through visually appealing charts and PivotTables.

08:00 am - 05:00 pm in building 103 on the NWSCCC Muscle Shoals campus. 

Topics covered will include QuickBooks navigation, basic accounting, company setup, user management, sales and vendor centers, 1099 tracking, bank account management, report generation, data entry, and final project integration.
