This beginner-friendly course introduces participants to ChatGPT, a powerful AI tool that can
help with writing, research, brainstorming, productivity, and more. Designed for non-technical
users, this course explains how ChatGPT works, how to interact with it effectively, and how to
use it safely and responsibly.

Class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning 4/6/2026 - 6/10/2026, 6:00pm-9:00pm on the Shoals campus.

The Echocardiography Certification Program is designed to prepare healthcare professionals with the knowledge, technical skills, and clinical judgment necessary to perform and interpret echocardiographic studies. This comprehensive program covers the principles of ultrasound physics, cardiac anatomy and physiology, pathology recognition, patient care techniques, and hands-on training with echocardiographic equipment.

Upon successful completion, participants will be eligible to sit for national echocardiography certification examinations and pursue careers as cardiac sonographers in hospitals, clinics, and specialty practices. Minimum requirements below:

• Must hold currently sonography certification
• Must have 6 months on the job experience
• Must have 1 letter of recommendation from current, medical employer

This course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.  

Class will meet from 8:00 am - 12:-00 pm in bldg. 122 of the Bevill center on the Shoals campus on 4/17/26.
