This is a hybrid course.

This class will take place in building 103 room 112 on the Shoals campus.

This course is open to currently employed Certified Nursing Assistants. Becoming a Medication Assistant upskills the CNA into a position that is capable of dispersing certain medications and eligible for higher pay within most facilities. After passing this Medication Assistant Course, the student will be eligible to sit for the registry test to become a certified Medication Assistant.

Requirements for admission

• Signed letter of recommendation from your current long-term care facility employer
• High School Transcript or GED
• Background Check
• Negative Drug Screen
• CNA
• TB Skin Test
• CPR Certification
• Copy of Drivers License
